MADCC runs a Hare and Hounds handicap race that takes place at Adelphi Mill at 9.30 am, usually on the second Sunday of each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the club calendar or forum close to each H&H as dates may have to change to avoid clashes with other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The H&H is a 4-mile race over two laps, with competitors starting at intervals based on their personal best times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inexperienced paddlers, SUP paddlers, and junior paddlers can opt to paddle a single 2-mile lap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The format allows developing paddlers to compete on an even playing field with more experienced racers and allows anyone to improve their forward paddling skills. Points accrued each month decide the winners of the annual trophies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
