C1 or K1 all the way, C2 or K2 all the way, C1 or K1 relay (2 to 5 person), C2 or K2 relay (4 to 10 person), and K2 or Double Tourer 10-person (adult plus junior pairs) relay team. Other reasonable forms of relay may be permitted, subject to prior agreement with the organiser.
If your club/organisation wishes to enter a class but does not have enough paddlers to make up a full team please contact the organiser as they may be able to link you to other paddlers who are also looking for more team members.
Note, since 2018, there is a 15-hour cut-off time for arrival at the Old Broken Cross relay changeover point (about half-way). The race has always been intended as a 24-hour challenge and the cut-off is to ensure that competitors finish in around that time.
MADCC regrets that the next Cheshire Ring Race will now not take place until summer 2022.

Report to the organiser and canoe scrutineer (Refer to Rules: 3d, e 4,a c, & 5)
08.00 – 10.00 Other start times may be permitted by prior arrangement with the race organiser.
Perpetual trophies, certificates and finshers mugs will be presented at the end of the race or posted as appropriate.
