It is with much sadness that we announce the death last week of fellow paddler, friend and ex-club chairman Alan Armstrong. Alan was a paddling colleague and dear friend to many of us at Macclesfield and District Canoe Club and well regarded across the wider paddling community. Whilst we feel this loss acutely, our thoughts and support must go out to Alan’s immediate family.
I have posted an announcement to our club forum, and also created an album on the private MADCC Facebook should any of you wish to add comments or one or two memories of photos or a memory of Alan for others to Share
