Surplus Kit

Post by NigelK »

ANY SURPLUS KIT??
We are hoping you may have some surplus kit you are willing to donate to the Tom Furey Memorial Foundation Charity Kit Sale.
Tom was an outdoor instructor that Lizzie worked with and she now actively supports the Trust in his name.
We can collect and will deliver to PYB for you as we are all there for the w/e festival
Thank you for reading - Nigel, Anita and Lizzie

Is that climbing/mountaineering kit only?... or paddling kit too?

Anything outdoor: Paddling - mountaineering - mtn biking - SUP - skiing - camping, apart from caving for some reason.
The sea kayak has gone to someone who has promised a donation.

OK, I could most likely rustle up some stuff. I'll contact you to sort out how we get it there.

If you happen to have a kayak paddle or two left over after the sale please let me know. On the look out for one righted handed and one left

Hi Colin - I think you may have miss understood the original posting.
We have requested donations of any spare gear/equipment for the "bring & buy" at the Tom Furey Memorial Weekend being held at Plas-y-Brenin on the 18th & 19th October.
We suspect you would have more success with a request on this forum or the MADCC facebook page. Anita & Nigel

Hi All,
Big thanks to all contributors to this cause.
We had a fun weekend with the Tom Furey Memorial Trust, enjoyed their workshops, films and talks, with the added bonus of having to explain where the donated kit had come from.
Thanks again from Lizzie, Nigel and Anita.
