Our Thursday evening sessions at Brereton start again this evening 1st May 2025 our last session this season will be 4th September but we have an option for 11th if people are keen. These are paddle what you bring sessions (sorry boats only no SUP) there is no club equipment except by exceptional prior arrangement.
For those of you that haven’t tried it, Brereton Nature Reserve has a 14 acre lake, ducks, swans, grebes, kingfishers and lots of moorhens! It offers a relatively clean water venue to practice rolls rescues and to paddle round in circles (other shapes are available) to get those fitness levels up.
We paddle here on Thursday nights only with the agreement of Cheshire East Council, you do need a permit which is available through the club, but if you fancy coming to try it the club has a surplus of permits early in the season and we can always order more.
Our session runs notionally from 7pm -9pm, but many of us arrive from 6:30ish to get ready and we finish early depending on sunset.
