Hare & Hounds now Sunday 19th January

Hello all
The canal is frozen so the first H&H of 2025 will now be on Sunday 19th January. Hope to see you there, I will post a reminder next week.

The canal is still frozen! So H&H is doubtful on Sunday. I will update again on Saturday.

Hello, I have had a report that the canal is now ice free! So we will go ahead on Sunday, please sign up as usual.
Should it refreeze we can go for a walk and coffee instead!

It was a chilly one! 10 keen paddlers came out to play with Rod, in K1 for a change, our winner. Eddie was 2nd, James 3rd and K2 of John B & Matt 4th. Well done to all the paddlers especially on such a cold day!
The first times of the year set the handicaps for the rest of the year. After your first paddle your handicap only changes when you put in a faster time (not for a slower one!)
For our prize money pot it's £10 for the year or £1.50 each time.
Andy H has posted some great photos on the club Facebook page and Andrew is just posting today's times and placings on the H&H section of the racing page.
Next H&H is on Sunday 9th February See you then!
