white water introduction paddle

Sunday 31st August we are running a introduction to moving white water paddling. This is very much a beginners guide on grade 2 water such as the Burrs or Matlock Bath will depend on water levels at the end of the month. Club boats are available we will have to check re transportation may be on the Monday before 25th August. Please post your interest on the forum or let me know personally cheers Paul.

I'd like to do this please . I would need to borrow a club Kayak. I'm working on getting roof racks installed but if it's not ready on time it would be good to have a back up solution.

Sounds great. I'm interested. Would it be suitable for Luke, my 11 year old too? We both have our own boats and equipment - he's never been on a river and I've very minimal experience on rivers.

Colin I will put my up rights on for next Monday to pick up a kayak and helmet etc if needed as no club night on Monday 25th being a bank holiday

We will be going to Matlock Bath   We are meeting in the Artists   corner car park  DE4 3PS at 10.30am.

Please confirm that you will be attending  so that  I have an idea of numbers

You will need the following kit    paddle , spray deck , helmet, boat and suitable clothing.

I f you need to borrow  any of these items let me know . I will be at the Bollington store on Saturday at 4pm  to collect equipment please meet me there or let me know what you need.

The  water levels are low but should be perfect for practicing    skills.
